Fresh Ink: Daniel Johnson’s Resistance

Resistance

They treat us like animals
Then crucify us
When we are angry
We are not the guilty ones
Our murderers walk free
And we are supposed to not be angry
We are angry
And you will not crucify us
Not anymore

Daniel Johnson is an English major at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Having blogs and letters published by Urban Cusp, Johnson is the author of two collections of poetry, Say Hello, Revolution and Conviction.
