Lola Adebiyi weaves her love for both the arts and the sciences to be your friendly neighborhood filmmaking (future) doctor. A Nigerian woman from the ‘burbs of the ‘burgh, she hopes to use filmmaking to heal minds, her MD to heal bodies, and her writing to heal herself. Through her poems she likes to explore “screenpoetry,” writing poetry in the style of a screenplay. When she isn’t pulling herself in many different directions, she loves tea, cats, getting lost in the world of film and TV, and singing trap music in an operatic voice.
